new fairytale necklaces :)

howdy all.

So its been a while since I last posted, I was working on 2 custom ring pull bags which took up a lot of time. Once they were finished I made a few polymer clay and mini hama bead necklaces which didn't turn out too bad :) here's just a couple of them.

My favourite things I'm working on though are a new resin range, these are heart shape and all have a fairy tale themed which include snow white, three little pigs and three bears. these will be finished in about two days. I will do another update then.

on another note I have re listed the circle ring pull purse on my folksy store so check it out if you haven't already seen it ;)

making laurens bag

howdy all,

a friend of mine like my ring pull bags so i said i would make her one if she saved enough ring pulls. even thought its only a clutch bag its still the biggest bag i have made out of ring pulls. i made it over six days, which is a lot quicker that i thought it would be,

anywho here's how it went.....

DAY 1

cleaned and sorted all the ring pulls

DAY 2

started crocheting them together

DAY3

carried on from day 2

DAY 4

finished the sides and made a bottom

DAY 5

added the bottom and lined the bag

DAY 6

added a zip and finito :)

and that's it, i hope to save a lot more ring pulls because this bag came out quite nice its a good size and i want to make more, possibly in other colours too.

howdy, so I've been working on more ring pull purses however I'm am no longer the only one selling them on folksy, a new person has just listed some. oh well they are big in the USA so it was bound to get quite popular over here.
on other news i have run out of yarn so my Nintendo blanket I'm making myself has been put on hold for now.
I'm going to be listing some new items next week so keep an eye out for those.

that's the video, my new purse isn't in it because it wasn't made at that point, I've also made a little necklace with ring pulls, i crochet 2 together to make a heart pendant

that's it, I'm going to try and make more little charms like this but with different shapes and see what they look like.

new ring pull bag :)

wow it seems so long since my last post.
most of my time has been taken up by making a new ring pull bag that i finally finished yeppi!
its already listed on folksy and i have just started on a ring pull purse, here's the bag

so that it, im not used to crocheting that much so it made my hand ache quite a bit but it was worth it.

i was going to try and make a mini granny square blanket for a dolls house but as i started i thought mini crochet squares would look kind of cute on earrings so i tried it out and this is what they look like, what do you think?

new item listed

its been a while since i listed anything but i finally got round to it today, i have a few things to list and will be putting them on folksy over the next few days.
so today's listing is a round ring pull purse, its made from 70 ring pulls crochet together.

so what do you think? i haven't seen many of these over here, i know they are popular in other countries, but not sure how they will sell here. i love making these though, they are different.

howdy all,
so i have been playing around with a few more things trying out some new ideas as well as making some new necklaces (necklaces will be added to my folksy store next week).
the new pendants are still fairytale themed this time including snow white, not much else to say about that at the mo lol
the new things i was playing around with are a bag and a purse, they came out better than i thought but there's still room for improvement i think, anywho here's what i made.

a bag made from 2 cds with a bit of crochet lol

a Capri-sun coin purse

i like the coin purse, i will see what the feed back is like before i make any more of the cd bags though.

New Eco Purse

howdy all
i have been trying to make a pop tab purse for ages and after lots of trial and error i have finally made one. i am thinking of making a bag in the same way, and depending on feedback i may make some to sell on folksy.
i love finding different eco friendly ways to make bags/purses and these could be sold alongside my candy wrapper purses.
here's some pictures of the purse please tell me what you think........

so that's it (by the way the card is not real lol). these didn't take me long to make (not including the weeks it took working out how to put it together) so i could easily make more, i will need more pop tabs though lol will have to get friends and family to save them.

on another note I'm thinking about doing a craft blog for crafty tutorials. i posted a video on YouTube showing how to make a candy wrapper bag and it has been quite popular so I'm going to make a blog dedicated to these sorts of tutorials. it could be quite fun, anywho it just an idea at the mo.

new bag pics

so here's the pictures of the bag i made, i have already started on another one.

what do you think? its my favourite one. it will not be listed on folksy now till the end of next week as I'm going away for a couple of days and will have yo put my shop in holiday mode anyway. the bag i have just started is purple and silver and slightly bigger than this one, i haven't decided if I'm going to use a zip on it or give it a flap like the rainbow pink one i made before.

these bags really do take a lot of time to make so i may be putting the price up slightly on some of them.
